We started our business in 2010 when we opened a gift shop in Whitchurch at the top of the high street, since then we have grown and now have a ladies clothing shop with 5 interiors showrooms upstairs, the gift shop which has now moved into a different unit, and a shoe shop called SOLE. During covid we adapted by creating a new website for people to shop our collections.
We believe in a warm welcome and a personal friendly service, both in store and with our UK wide customers. We are a tight knit family, and are constantly talking about finding the next way to improve what we do, challenging ourselves to be the best we can be. We are very passionate about the town we are in, our children have grown up here and now help us to grow our business here, they've watched us through the best times and tough.
During the first covid lockdown we wanted to keep our social media as active as possible and also keep our customers entertained. Everyday we would film a cooking video and upload it to Facebook! These were completely unrehearsed and hilarious! We only thought the lockdown would last a few weeks at the time... but ended up posting 84 recipes overall! It really kept our customers engaged with our page and showed them a personal side to us as a business. My Daughter has now started another blog on our website called 'Lockdown Recipes' where you can follow along the recipes we made.
We have a lot to choose from, and it's easy to lose track of time as you find more and more to look at. In quite a few pieces, we tend to get more than one colour, so it's always worth asking if we have any more! We're always on hand to help with styling or sizing advice, finding alternative colours or shapes that are best suited to you, or sourcing the best accessories to compliment each piece.
If you're familiar with us and our little shops, you know that we're a friendly bunch that love a chat over a cuppa or a glass of fizz! We like everyone to feel welcome, we will help in any way we can.
We launched our website to make our collections available across the country. Despite now being online, we will always welcome anyone to pick up the phone or drop us a message if you need any help at all, or to order over the phone if you'd rather speak to a human!
